Alegra Torel, aka, the couture clinician, is a polymath, polyglot, jewelry maximalist, fashion obsessed, nomadic gypsy, twice married, mother to 1.5, whom also happens to be a licensed mental health clinician. a conflict resolution specialist, a luxury fashion expert, with more than one masters, holding monumental space for empathy and human understanding, whilst being a walking contradiction-a therapist but despises therapy- and wants everyone to, “Say All The Things.”
A former model standing 5’11, Alegra has spent her life absorbing culture, living and working around the globe…as a consigliere to members of the Saudi royal family…to changing careers a decade later and treating patients as a clinician on skid row. Her British wit and occasional condescension, coupled with her Turkish passion and clear Ottoman presence, is apparent before she even opens her mouth to…“say all the things”
Alegra’s mantra, ‘Say All The Things,’ which she embodies unapologetically, thanks to depression, divorce and motherhood, is ultimately about being confident enough, even if the confidence is fake (until it’s not), to occupy what she calls, “the FU position”- The brand’s philosophy: Say all the things; wear all the things; feel all the things, and if someone doesn’t like it-“FU!” But politely, because you know, she is British after all.
